Building, baking and a big camp fire! The Hive is opening a bakery in 2025…well, sort of. YOU will be if you join us on this scrumptious mission. Your goal: being customer ready to nail that first sale in a week!
Working with your team, you’ll have 5 days to build your own bakery, hone your baking skills and set up your business – all in the outdoors! On the last day, you’ll be competing for the “Master Loafers” Prize, awarded to the team with the most sales… and best customer reviews.
Each day will be split between making sessions and baking sessions. You’ll learn how to build a wooden stall from scratch and how to turn it into a shop. You’ll get to grind your own flour from rye, barley and spelt. You’ll master the art of the Dutch oven and experiment with baking methods on the fire. You’ll get to whittle your own rolling pin to take home. And most importantly, you’ll bake loads: pizza, waffles, banana bread, chocolate brownies, breadsticks, a big loaf of crusty bread and a bunch of campfire buns. Interested? Better get your application in!
This mission is in development. The full itinerary will be published in January 2026.
Please note that our daily itinerary is a guide, and some activities may need to be changed or rescheduled when circumstances occasionally make it difficult for us to run them, including poor weather. We’ll always do our best to offer enjoyable alternatives and, wherever possible, run the planned activity on an alternative day.
