Forest School Training
At the end of each training cohort, Forest School trainees are invited to complete a feedback form, rating each aspect of the training they receive at The Hive and sharing an overall comment.

We have been delivering accredited Forest School training since 2018, and we regularly refresh these testimonials to ensure they remain current.

I had an excellent experience completing the Forest School programme. The course was well structured, engaging and thoughtfully delivered, balancing theory with practical application in a way that felt both supportive and inspiring. The training deepened my understanding of child led learning, risk assessment and the value of nature based education, while also building my confidence to lead meaningful Forest School sessions. I am especially grateful to Caroline and my lead trainer, Sarah Belsey , whose knowledge, encouragement and professionalism made the journey truly positive. During a challenging personal time, I was shown exceptional understanding, kindness and flexibility. The support offered allowed me to complete the course without added pressure, and I genuinely could not have achieved this without their compassion and guidance. I'm not usually a outdoorsy person at all but it has made me more open to it and I have learned so much, the practical work has been amazing and fun, and both the trainers Sarah and Mauricio have been supportive to me as an individual. Marlon was very patient and encouraging each day, helping each participant to complete the activities. He was assisted by James who was also patient and very willing to help anyone. There was a good balance of practical activities as well as time spent on how to complete the paperwork involved in the course. Each day, we could see the progress we had made since the first day. |

I am so grateful for my Forest School journey with The Hive! It has been a year of joy outdoors and new fascinating discoveries.
