This is your opportunity to learn how professionals design, build and test to create the most amazing lair!
Your mission will start with a short briefing and brainstorm session to discuss building principles, materials and ideas for structures. Then you’ll be ready for your first challenge: design, make and test a small maquette model of your lair, using your drawing skills, the 3D SketchUp software, and selected design apps on your team iPad.
Once your prototype is complete, you’ll get busy with power tools to build the basic structure of your lair. In the process, you’ll also learn detailed willow weaving, knot tying, fixing, and more designing, building and camouflaging, to finish creating your structures.
You will be working in small teams, to make your lair a great place to chill! Your mission will culminate with a final challenge: putting your design and making skills to the test by building a giant swing for your team!

Please note that our daily itinerary is a guide, and some activities may need to be changed or rescheduled when circumstances occasionally make it difficult for us to run them, including poor weather. We’ll always do our best to offer enjoyable alternatives and, wherever possible, run the planned activity on an alternative day.
