In the Shire, Second Breakfast is the best meal of the day. It comes after breakfast and before lunch, and it’s a time for tasty snacks, juicy fruit, warm fires, and a cosy rest. Poppy Bramblebrook is a Hobbit through and through, and loves Second Breakfast more than anything… which is why she’s so worried.
Crumbs are scattered across the ground. Campfires keep going out. Snacks vanish from lunchboxes. Something mysterious is definitely happening...
Hive HQ has uncovered whispers of a group of creatures known as The Crumbsnatchers. No one has ever seen them clearly, but signs of them appear wherever food and warmth are found. Little clues are left behind: crumbs, quiet marks in the soil, and cosy spots that look recently slept in.
Are they causing trouble… or do they need help? That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for brave, thoughtful young adventurers to become Mission Helpers, working alongside Poppy Bramblebrook on a quest of discovery. Your mission is to protect Second Breakfast, uncover the truth about the Crumbsnatchers, and decide what should happen next.
Along the way, you’ll learn the ways of the Hobbits: how to care for campfires, cook delicious food over the flames - fit for a Middle-Earth feast, and bake Shire-worthy bread and cakes. There will be hedgehog houses to craft, woodland to explore, cosy shelters to build, not to mention cloaks to mend, tools to construct, and clues to unravel!
As the mystery comes together, a surprising truth about The Crumbsnatchers is revealed...
JOIN US FOR A FUN, GENTLE ADVENTURE FILLED WITH MYSTERY, COSY CRAFTING, CAMPFIRE COOKING, OUTDOOR PLAY AND A HEART-WARMING TWIST. PERFECT FOR YOUNG CAMPERS WHO LOVE IMAGINATION, TEAMWORK, FANTASY AND CARING FOR NATURE, AND (MOST OF ALL) BREAKFAST!
This mission is in development. The full itinerary will be published in February 2026.
