THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE HAS FINALLY HAPPENED! BUT THIS SUMMER THERE’S MORE THAN JUST BRAINS ON THE MENU…!

Mission Synopsis

The year is 2030 and an evil spell has been cast affecting all the human dead of Britain…who have started to rise!!! After a devastating period of apocalyptic mayhem, the zombies have finally begun their migration. Thanks to the expert leadership of the Zombie Defence Team (who did a marvellous job of convincing the zombies they’d be much happier in the colder climate of the now-evacuated South Pole!) the zombies have been making their slow, destructive way to Antarctica ever since. They may still be wreaking havoc along the way, but thankfully the zombie population of Britain has gone back to zero!

As the only survivors of the zombie apocalypse and their thirst for human brains, it’s up to us to try and get things back to normal. But here at The Hive we’ve decided to make the best of a bad situation with a challenge to help us on the road to recovery.

This Summer, learn how to  master some serious bushcraft skills and compete with your fellow survivalists to be the UK’s best post-apocalyptic chef using ONLY a very limited stock of ingredients left over from the zombie invasion. Now that the zombies have gone, it’s up to you to lift everybody’s spirits by cooking up a storm. Set up your zombie-proof outdoor kitchen, forage for ingredients, learn how to light fires (zombies are famously scared of fire), and cook delicious feasts over the campfire.

From just a few simple ingredients, you’ll make mouth-watering masterpieces and get creative with your cooking skills. There’ll also be a chance to get excited about potatoes…yes that’s right, potatoes. A very large stock of this versatile staple has been discovered and seems to have survived the apocalypse relatively unscathed. Learn inventive ways of making delicious dishes using hot coals from the fire as the potato becomes your new best friend. There’ll also be a mystery box challenge and a zombie-themed cooking contest to really turn up the heat as you battle to be crowned Most Apocalyptic Chef!

Take the zombie-awareness challenge and do your best to pass the crucial post-apocalyptic training you need to make sure you’re ready if (when) the zombies rise again. You never know…

So for all those experimental chefs out there with an appetite for outsmarting the living dead, it’s time to get inventive and test your survival skills; from spine-chilling to tongue-tingling learn to create delicious flavours and keep those zombies at bay!

A GREAT INTRODUCTION TO SURVIVAL COOKING AND BUSHCRAFT SKILLS, WITH AN APOCALYPTIC (AND SLIGHTLY ABSURD) TWIST!
