Tiny buildings, scaled down roads, incy bridges and teeny people inhabited this strange and peculiar world. Rita & Noah, being the inquisitive pair that they were, investigated further and began talking with the rather worried and upset townspeople. This was how they discovered that this magical town, named Greenville, was in BIG trouble...Greenville, as it ironically turned out, isn’t that green at all! The river is so gross that even Woodie the local beaver won’t swim in it, the air stinks of rotten eggs, the park is buried under mountains of revolting brown goo and Magog, the old oak has been chopped down to make space for - wait for it - a giant car park!!! The town is ruined! It’s nothing short of a disaster…
Rita and Noah feel sorry for the people of Greenville, but they don’t really know what to do. They’re not exactly experts in miniature towns! All of a sudden, a round little man with a large moustache runs over towards them. It’s Major Dewy, the town’s Leader. He’s so out of breath and excited that he’s spluttering… “looking…people…no time…help… lucky”. It turns out that he’s been looking for help for ages and now two identical humans have just turned up! How lucky is that? “Can you help? Do you know what to do to save the town? Have you got any nature Greenville could borrow? And what’s with the rotten eggs? I have no idea where that’s come from…”
Rita & Noah feel rather out of their depth, but they can’t let the townspeople down. Suddenly Rita has an idea. She remembers that a couple of summers ago, she had taken part in a Hive mission…. Oh yes, now she’s thinking about it, they could definitely help out.
The Hive is calling on the young architects of tomorrow to take on this exciting mission and design a brand-new GREEN Greenville! You will be making, building, trading and designing with the utmost professionalism. We need a team! Only the best may apply.
This mission is in development. The full itinerary will be published in January 2026.
Please note that our daily itinerary is a guide, and some activities may need to be changed or rescheduled when circumstances occasionally make it difficult for us to run them, including poor weather. We’ll always do our best to offer enjoyable alternatives and, wherever possible, run the planned activity on an alternative day.
