Our AIM accredited Level 1 Introduction to the Forest School Ethos and Principles course consists of 5 learning outcomes:

1. Understanding the Forest School approach to learning
2 Being able to participate in Forest School experiences
3 Understanding methods of identification of woodland species
4 Understanding how Forest School impacts on the woodland environment
5 Understanding hazards at Forest School

COURSE ACCREDITATION

Our Level 1 Introduction to the Forest School Ethos & Principles course is accredited through National Awarding Organisation AIM Qualifications & Assessment Group. The Qualification Number is 616/9670 and the course specification can be downloaded here. 

This course has been developed in partnership with the Forest School Association. Its curriculum is endorsed by the Forest School Association through our AIM accreditation.

Our training centre is based at Stave Hill Ecological Park in South East London. We're a 10-minute walk from both Canada Water Station and Rotherhithe Station.

COST

The Level 1 Introduction to the Forest School Ethos & Principles training costs £240 per person, which includes 2 training days, full access to Stave Hill Ecology Park, training materials, portfolio guidance, access to our Forest School nursery for sessions, portfolio marking and certification. This also covers full tutor support throughout your training.

We offer 3 payment options:

1. You can pay the full amount for the course by booking online below, or over the phone by calling 020 3435 6848. 
2. You can pay by invoice, which we know is often best for schools and nurseries. Just call our main number or email team@thehive-kids.com to pay this way.
3. You can pay in 2 instalments: the first is due at the time of booking, the second is due 4 weeks before the start of the course. Just call our main number or email team@thehive-kids.com to pay this way.
