Few people are as tough as the Vikings. For a Norseman or Norsewoman spending time outdoors isn’t optional, it’s a matter of life or death! To survive they must master a long list of skills; be talented woodsmen, archers with the greatest dexterity, champion boat makers, gifted trappers, and resourceful tradesmen. Their bushcraft knowledge is second to none.
On this mission, you’ll get to follow in their legendary footsteps and discover how to master the art of survival, Viking-style! During the week, you’ll learn how to light a fire with Chaga fungus, construct an A-Frame Viking tent, whittle a wooden spear, build a raft, and learn Viking runes. You’ll also have a chance to play legendary Viking games: proving your strength in the Toga Hönk, competing in the Viking Olympics, and finding out which team will triumph at Knattleikr! And after all the hard work is done, and the games have been played, celebrate your achievements with a bit of pampering as you learn some tips about Norse grooming, and treat your tastebuds to a delicious Viking feast cooked over the fire with a warming cup of honey mead!
Are you ready to learn from the best? It’s time to unleash your inner Viking.
