Misha the bear cub and his mum Anoushka had only just arrived at Bear Wood. They’d travelled a very long way to get there, over mountains, forests, rivers, fields and towns, crossing seven different countries!! It had been a slow and tiring journey, but now they’d arrived in their new home and Ash, the bear keeper, was so excited to meet them that they hadn’t even slept for the past two days… All they could think about was Misha: how was he coping with the expedition? Hopefully he wasn’t too scared or feeling queasy in the moving truck. Ash couldn’t wait for Misha to arrive and start exploring his new quarters!
Misha and Anoushka were European brown bears. Poor Anoushka had been a dancing bear and Misha was born in captivity, but after a successful rescue operation, they were now ready to start a new adventure at Bear Wood, the most magical of places.
Back in the Middle Ages, over 1,000 years ago, Bear Wood had been a deep forest where bears like Misha and Anoushka roamed free and lived alongside wolves, lynx and wolverine. Now, Ash and their elite wildlife squad, The Rewilders, were intent on bringing the forest back to its former glory! This is where Misha and Anoushka came in. Together with Loki the wolf, Freya the lynx and Bobo the wolverine, they were there to reclaim the woods…
As Ash and their team welcome the bears, they’re looking for a top team of bear loving guardians to help them on their rewilding mission, learning their ways, protecting their world and fighting for their way of life. Will Anoushka get to enjoy freedom? Will Misha find friends? How will they get on with Loki, Freya and Bobo? Join us on their extraordinary adventure to find out:)
A SUSPENSE FILLED AND HEART-WARMING BEAR ADVENTURE, WHERE ANIMAL CONSERVATION AND REWILDING COME TOGETHER IN AN EXCITING JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY.
