Your brief: Create the kind of futuristic food that every influencer will want to talk about and make as much money as you can in one week!!! The rules: we’re looking for Earth-saving food hacks, Planet-rescuing inventions and nature-powered concoctions…
First, you’ll go on a crash course in futuristic ingredients. Then you’ll get experimental: you’ll invent new foods and prototype the best ones. You’ll have to do your market research: will your foods make your friends salivate… or retch? You’ll learn about costs and prices and how to make a profit. You’ll master the art of selling and you’ll produce your own Youtube tutorial. Will your foods go viral? Will they be shaping the future?
Do well, and there are some prestigious prizes to be won: will you be the craziest inventor? The most ingenious entrepreneur? The Big Cheese making the most money? Or will you crash and burn? Time to find out!
FACILITATION
Our Lead Facilitators on this mission tend to be practising business mentors with experience of leading projects for children. They are supported by Enterprise specialists. We operate an overall ratio of 1:8 in our camps. All facilitators are DBS and reference checked; all undergo The Hive in-house safeguarding training. Sites include several fully qualified First Aiders.
MISSION DURATION
Five-day mission with the flexibility to book 1 - 5 days.
DAILY TIMES
The mission runs from 9.30am to 4pm.
Extended care is also available from 8.30am to 6pm - an additional charge applies.
END OF MISSION SHOWCASE
All Hive missions finish with an exhibition, showcase or performance for parents. The format depends on each particular mission. We usually ask parents to arrive between 15 and 30 minutes early to get the most out of the showcases.
