Harry Stotle is the new Director of the Four Elements Gallery in Cambridge. His very first exhibition " Water beats Earth. Earth beats Fire. Fire beats Air. And Air beats Water" opens soon and he's on the lookout for exciting work from talented young artists to display. The pressure is on! As he's a good friend of Kaitlin's - who is artist in residence at The Hive - he's asked if she could help him find promising new talent. This is where you come in....
To impress Harry, you’re going to learn all about ice art, you’ll make kinetic floating creations, you’ll have a go at sculpting balsa wood, you’ll learn about clay techniques such as coil, pinch and slab, you’ll make flammable sculptures, you’ll get to try Suminagashi, you’ll create pigment art, wind chimes, sails and kites and even get to experiment with metal work!
As the mission progresses, you'll need to take the most stunning photos and videos of your installations and artwork for Harry to judge and display. The week will conclude with a preview exhibition for parents.
