No such thing as bad weather...
This very much feels like our mantra on this very wet Friday, but with the rain comes the joy of a truly beautiful park. Stave Hill is sparkling in shades of green at the moment and teeming with life... see our heron encounter below!
We're a little late with our April newsletter, apologies. Training, assessment and marking have been very busy and we're working hard on the opening of our Forest School nursery.
We only have two Level 3 spaces and 1 Level 2 space left on the next training course, starting 3rd June. For those of you who aren't available during the week, our July training will run on Saturdays (starting 6th July). It's a small group of 8 trainees and we only have 4 spaces left.
In this month's newsletter, we have a go at making a Forest School abacus with hazel sticks and elder beads, we share ideas about recording a forest soundscape and we discover the wonderful world of Grimwood. We also share the results of an interesting survey by The National Trust.
Happy Forest School to you all:)
