Are you a seasoned vegan? Ready to take the plunge? Thinking about it? Not sure it’s your thing? This mission is your opportunity to find out more… And we promise it will be delicious!!
Ten cooking skills
Dozens of plant foods
A group of determined Change Makers
… And one hell of a battle!
Starting as a junior, you’ll earn your stripes over the course of the week, as you attempt to prove your cooking prowess. Each day, you’ll tackle different vegan cooking skills as your Head Chef reveals the challenges on offer! You’ll have to get creative and work as a team to achieve your best… From the ultimate American vegan breakfast to a cool Indian brunch, Italian trattoria lunch and Mad Hatter afternoon tea, your Head Chef will put you through your paces. The mission will conclude with a big Mexican Fiesta where the week’s Greatest Sous Chef will be crowned.
As the competition unfolds, the team will be able to document their cooking journey through a collective video diary of ups and downs, challenges and successes. The video diary will be edited into a short film to be shared with parents and families.
Throughout the week, the mission will also include opportunities to chat about plant-based foods and the vegan movement- in an open, informal and exploratory way:)
A JOYFUL EXPLORATION OF PLANT-BASED FOODS IN A CHALLENGING COMPETITION FORMAT, WITH STRONG ELEMENTS OF CREATIVITY AND A SUBTLE HINT OF CAMPAIGNING.
