You’ll live through the ultimate buccaneer experience, as you learn how to turn RPG gaming mechanics into an interactive adventure. You’ll challenge your creative writing skills by incorporating player’s choices into your scripts of courage, adventure, fortune and greed. You’ll seek to capture this stark world of secrets and betrayal, by completing challenges, designing escape tools and putting your survival skills to the test. But be warned, there's a traitor among us...

RECOMMENDED AGE RANGE
11 - 13 (Years 7 - 8). Because of the nature of this mission and the specific skills and activities involved, it is only suitable for children 11 or older. Both Lead and Support Facilitators on this type of mission are Makers & Performers with experience of delivering such projects with teens in the outdoors. Parents always receive a full list of facilitators a week or so before the start of camp. We operate an overall ratio of 1:8 in our camps. All facilitators are DBS and reference checked; all undergo The Hive in-house safeguarding training. Sites include several fully qualified First Aiders.
Five-day mission with the flexibility to book 2, 3 or 5 days.
The mission runs from 9.30am to 4pm.
Extended care is also available from 8.30am to 6pm - an additional charge applies.
END OF MISSION SHOWCASE
All Hive missions finish with an exhibition, showcase or performance for parents.The format depends on each particular mission. We usually ask parents to arrive between 15 and 30 minutes early to get the most out of the showcases.
