Unbeknown to them, Puck the mischievous sprite is eavesdropping. Thinking that Bottom is one of the worst actors he’s ever had the misfortune to listen to, Puck decides to play a trick on him and change his head into that of a donkey’s!!
This sparks a hilarious sequence of events where the Queen of the Fairies falls in love with Bottom and his donkey’s head and Puck keeps making mistakes with his precious love potion. Not all is well in the woods… Everyone is falling in love with the wrong person! What is going on?
Puck’s Prank is a comic retelling of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Set in the forest, with plenty of slapstick, silliness and buffoonery, it’s a fast-paced and fun introduction to one of Shakespeare’s most playful plays.
On this mission, not only will you perfect your drama skills, but you will also join the Puck’s Prank Production Team. Working with your Artistic Director, you will be responsible for bringing the magic to life. Do you know your hacksaw from your jigsaw? Then we want to hear from you! There is a set to design, a stage to build, scenery to create, props to make, costumes to sew and special effects to! This is how make-believe happens ☺
This mission will culminate with an exciting matinee performance on the last day in front of a select parent audience. All children taking part in the mission will get to perform a speaking role.
This mission is currently in development. The itinerary will be available in early 2023.
