Mission Synopsis

CALLING ALL ASPIRING ADVENTURE FILMMAKERS!

On this adventure filmmaking mission, you’ll discover how to shoot and edit an adventure movie, while mastering filmmaking and special effects techniques. You’ll develop a story idea with your production team, then turn that concept into a script and a shot-by-shot storyboard. You’ll get to experience the different roles involved in making an adventure movie: director, presenter, camera operator, producer, special effects technician and editor. You’ll discover creative camera angles and unique shots, then edit your original footage to create a professional adventure film.

At the end of the course, the films will be uploaded onto The Hive’s private Youtube channel to share with friends and family. Click here to see films made on previous missions.

LEARN HOW TO CREATE A NATURE FILM FROM SCRATCH, EXPLORE THE DIFFERENT ROLES WITHIN A PRODUCTION TEAM AND GET CREATIVE THROUGH STORYBOARDING, SCRIPT WRITING AND THE MOVING IMAGE - ALL IN THE OUTDOORS.
