Two new residents have arrived at Bear Wood, and Ash the bear keeper can’t wait to meet them! Misha the bear cub and his mum Anoushka have travelled a very long way to get there, over mountains, forests, rivers, fields and towns, crossing seven different countries! Misha and Anoushka are European brown bears; poor Anoushka had been forced to work as a dancing bear in a circus, before she was rescued and brought to Bear Wood along with her cub Misha.
Now Ash is so excited for them to start their next wild adventure in their new home! Back in the Middle Ages, over 1,000 years ago, Bear Wood was a deep forest full of bears, wolves, lynx and wolverines, all roaming free! Ash is working with an elite wildlife squad, The Rewilders, on an exciting project to return Bear Wood back to its former glory, and Anoushka and Misha are part of this! Together with Loki the wolf, Freya the lynx and Bobo the wolverine, they’re here to reclaim the woods for their own…
But Ash will need help making sure that this rewilding mission is a success! There’ll be scavenger hunts, codes to crack, fossils to find and footprints to identify. You’ll also learn all about the wonderful world of bears, understanding how to track them, why they hibernate, and the importance of bear safety. And why not have a go at creating bear masks, making delicious Brown Bear Bars, and fishing salmon with homemade bear paws to really learn the bear necessities!!
Ash needs a top team of bear loving guardians to help these animals survive and thrive in their new home. Can you learn the ways of the bear and help protect their new world? Become a Rewilder and find out!A SUSPENSE FILLED AND HEART-WARMING BEAR ADVENTURE, WHERE ANIMAL CONSERVATION AND REWILDING COME TOGETHER IN AN EXCITING JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY.
