The year is 205 AD and we’re building up to the most important festival of the Roman calendar, Silvanalia. Silvanalia is pretty much a huge party held every year to honour the Roman gods and goddesses of nature and celebrate the natural world. And if all goes to plan and the gods are pleased, it means we’ll be in for a good harvest next year, which is kind of a big deal! Packed full of games, celebrations, feasts and fire, Silvanalia is the highlight of the year…and you’re invited!
But this year the gods are angry, something has seriously shaken them, and they’ve decided to withhold their favour until the town has proved they’ve earned it. So it’s up to you to play the game and please the gods to make sure that Silvanalia is a success, otherwise the next harvest will fail, and that means no food!!
During the week you’ll transform into a Roman character of your choice, developing an entirely unique character profile and making personal props for your immersive journey. You’ll work with your team to decide which way the game will go as you assess different choices and overcome obstacles. Each day you’ll face whatever challenge nature throws at you to unlock gods and goddesses that will help you progress to the next level. There’ll be codes to crack, clues to scavenge for, and secret messages to decipher. You’ll have to navigate your way (blindfolded!) through an obstacle course, conduct experiments to find the ideal snack for a dangerously hungry gorgon, impress the gods with your hunting skills, and learn to avoid the stoney glare of Medusa. Discover a world like no other as you spin your own Roman tale in a nature quest to please the gods.
Are you up to the challenge? With a labyrinth of riddles and characters, how far will you go to outwit the gods and save the harvest? Pick your character, choose your path, and let the games begin!
