As legend goes the jewels were snatched by his own first mate - a man called Skunkbeard - and buried somewhere secret. To add salt to the wound Skunkbeard left clues for Blacktoe to unravel, but Blacktoe was never able to solve them and the jewels became lost in history, existing only in myth and legend… until now!
Hive recruit Charlie Blacktoe is Old Blacktoe's descendant and she is very interested in finding the jewels... Unfortunately the map has reignited an age-old feud with Old Skunkbeard’s descendant, Leonard. And it looks like Leonard's motives aren't that pure! Charlie cannot let Leonard get away with this. She's asked The Hive for help. Will you answer the call?
Do you have the treasure-hunting and swash-buckling skills needed to retrieve the jewels? You'll have to follow old Skunkbeard's clues around the globe and help Charlie find the treasure before Leonard does! The race is on!

RECOMMENDED AGE RANGE
5 1/2 - 8 (Years 1 - 4). Please note that this is only a recommendation. In our experience, stories and adventures really engage children up to around 8. Every child is different however and you know your child best! If you are unsure and would like to talk through with us, please free to call or email the team. We'll be very happy to advise.
FACILITATION
Our Lead Facilitators tend to be practising Primary School Teachers, supported by Outdoor Practitioners and Drama Professionals. Parents always receive a full list of facilitators a week or so before the start of camp. We operate an overall ratio of between 1:8 and 1:10 in our camps. All facilitators are DBS and reference checked; all undergo The Hive in-house safeguarding training. Sites include fully qualified First Aiders.
MISSION DURATION
Five-day mission with the flexibility to book 2, 3 or 5 days.
DAILY TIMES
The mission runs from 9.30am to 4pm.
Extended care is also available from 8.30am to 6pm - an additional charge applies.
END OF MISSION SHOWCASE
All Hive missions finish with an exhibition, showcase or performance for parents. The format depends on each particular mission. We usually ask parents to arrive between 15 and 30 minutes early to get the most out of the showcases.
